The YMCA is looking for a detail-loving volunteer to serve as a Space Spark Organizer — someone who brings fresh energy and thoughtful organization to shared spaces throughout the Y.


🧩 Role Description


As a Space Spark Organizer, you will help transform and maintain organized, welcoming environments in areas such as Child Watch, program rooms, storage closets, supply areas, and family spaces. Your efforts will directly support staff efficiency, youth engagement, and a positive member experience.


This is a flexible, creative volunteer role perfect for someone who enjoys decluttering, labeling, and making spaces more functional and inviting.


✨ What You’ll Do


 




  • Organize supplies, cabinets, and shared storage areas




  • Create simple, easy-to-follow labeling systems




  • Refresh and reset spaces used by children, families, and staff




  • Help implement clean-up systems that are sustainable long-term




  • Offer creative ideas to improve flow and functionality of spaces




  • Assist with seasonal organization projects and special events
