Opportunity:

Help individuals reach their goals!

Description

Join the individuals in our education based day service programs! In these programs, individuals we serve participate in different activities such as art, cooking, computers, life-skills, etc. to help retain and gain new skills. Our newest day program Career Connections builds on these same activities and also adds sessions to help individuals explore and gain skills to find community-based employment.

Volunteers assist staff with activities, form connections and help individuals reach their goals!

Opportunities are available at our day programs at our Lakeside Property on Lake Eliza (38 South Fish Lake Street, Valparaiso) for Renewed Horizons which focuses on the senior population, Enriching Possibilities for mild to moderate individuals and our Daily Living Skills is for the most severe and profound individuals we serve. Career Connections is located at our Main Building (2801 Evans Avenue, Valparaiso.)

Volunteers are asked to commit to at least 2hours per month.
